The rules: We will be doing NAGA scoring (except no takedowns – all matches start on the knees to allow people more time to work their ground game). With Submission Hunt just around the corner, this is a great opportunity for people to get their feet wet.

Dear Member,
Welcome to Petushin Martial Arts! Thank you for choosing our school for your training. Our instructors are focused on providing you the finest instruction in the area! Each member is expected to train in a safe manner, along with showing respect and courtesy to the other members. The dojo (school) is a place of self-discipline. However, new members are not expected to “know everything”, so don’t’ worry. Your main focus for the first month should just be to attend classes, enjoy your training, and keep it safe. Remember; let your body adjust to the training. Don’t go too hard too soon! Whenever you have a question, you may ask a senior member, an instructor, or myself. Questions are always welcome. I suggest you adhere to the following success formula for your training. If you follow these key points, your training will be enjoyable and rewarding.
